In addition to on-street parking, the City of Glenwood Springs maintains a number of public parking facilities. Additional parking is available in private lots, after hours, and on weekends. All public parking is free but subject to time restrictions as posted. Major public lots in the downtown area include:
- The City Parking Garage, located at 9th Street and Cooper Avenue, offers covered parking on the ground level and rooftop parking.
- Cooper Avenue lot, located next to the Glenwood Fire Station on Cooper Avenue between 8th & 9th Streets.
- 7th & Colorado lot, located behind Smoke restaurant and across from the Garfield County Courthouse.
- 7th Street lot, located behind the municipal buildings near the intersection of 7th and 8th Streets.

Residential Parking Permits
Residents living in designated areas of downtown Glenwood Springs are eligible to receive a maximum of 2 parking permit per residence. For additional information and/or to apply for a pass, please contact the Glenwood Springs Police Department.
Multi-day parking for Amtrak passengers is available at the 7th Street lot with prior approval of the Glenwood Springs Police Department. Please call 970-384-6500 to inquire.
