6th Street Corridor Master Plan

The goal of the 6th Street Master Plan, which was completed in 2017, is to continue public improvements that the Grand Avenue Bridge project set in motion such as streetscape improvements, bike facilities, public parking, and neighborhood gathering areas.

Throughout 2016, the city and key stakeholders, including area property owners, businesses and residents, worked with studioINSITE, a Denver-based urban planning & design firm, to create a future vision of the 6th Street corridor & the North Glenwood neighborhood.

Public Open Houses

studioINSITE met with the public at open house events in January, February, May, and September, 2016.  These were well-attended events that generated a lot of comments and good ideas.

Master Plan

Based on input from public & stakeholder meetings, studioINSITE drafted a master plan that creates a blueprint for future North Glenwood development and redevelopment. City Council adopted the 6th Street Corridor Master plan on June 15, 2017.
